Transformation Solution
In 2001, Vix was awarded the contract to supply the new EPI system for London’s Victoria Coach Station. Vix’s system offered a solution to four distinct challenges: serve the needs of multiple departments (operations, administration and IT); provide timetable management facilities; deliver software tools and develop and deploy a complex billing, invoicing and reporting system. Vix constructed the system over a period of six months and have since extended and enhanced it by completing a major technology refresh.
The system is able to handle more than 200,000 coach movements and 10 million annual passengers across two terminals and has dramatically improved access to information and passenger flow in the station.
